Keith and his wife, Jeannette, have a sub-fund with the Australian Communities Foundation that supports a range of issues including environment, threatened species and assisting Indigenous communities. Keith has previously served on the board of the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.
Keith’s career in financial markets spans over 30 years managing investments for superannuation funds, governments and private individuals. Following the successful establishment of Wardley Investment Management and later County Natwest Investment Management for the Hong Kong Bank and the National Westminster Bank UK respectively, he co-founded Portfolio Partners in 1994 which established a successful reputation as a manager of Australian equities.
Portfolio Partners was subsequently acquired by Norwich Union in 1998 where Keith remained as Joint Chief Executive until 2001. He then joined the board of several private and public companies and was appointed Executive Vice Chairman and Head of Asset Management Australia for Credit Suisse in 2006 – 2008 with a brief to restructure and reposition the business in Australia. Keith maintains a keen interest in financial markets and remains a director of several family companies.
